Sarah was caring for her mother and died 3 days after her mother. They died of Lagrippe. Sarah is buried at the old Tubb- Curb place with her husband and two children. At one time this farm was owned by Dot Hogge. John Thomas Curb, husband of Sarah Tubb died in 1864. They had 13 children.

According to Tubb lore, Sarah Sally Tubb was named after her two grandmothers who were sisters. Sarah and Sally Sanders. Per descendant Nell T Hall and others. Other descendants have Kinchen Perry married to Margaret Sanders as the parents of Rebecca Perry Tubb.

Sion Sanders and Rebecca Perry married in Hickman Co., TN on 5 Aug 1822 and moved to Alabama in 1826/27 on horseback. Sion led the way leading a pack mule with Sarah Sally Tubb sitting in front of Sion and Reuben Tubb the oldest sitting behind Sion. Rebecca rode in the rear holding their 6 month old son, Samuel, in her arms. Sion and Sarah had 9 children:
