Allan Wayne Guilliams, 66, of Copper Hill passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on August 17th, 2021. He was born on May 3, 1955 and he was a loving, hard-working Husband, Father, "Grumps", Son, Uncle, and Friend. His family loved him dearly. Allan was always willing to lend a helping hand to someone who needed it. His favorite pastime was sitting on the front porch watching the hummingbirds fly around his numerous feeders. In the summer time you would frequently find him in the hayfield or his garden. Allan graduated from Floyd County High School and he worked for Carilion as a police officer for over 30 years.

He is preceded in death by his father, Cecil Guilliams, and his grandson, Keegan Martindale. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Rebecca Guilliams and their two daughters, Amber Horst and Emily Martindale (Brett); his mother, Jean Guilliams; grandson, Jameson Horst; siblings, Susan Nichols (Tim), Jeff Guilliams, Carol Minnix (Mark), and Andy Guilliams (Tammy); nephew, Andrew Nichols, with whom he shared a special bond and numerous other nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Oakey's South Chapel on Sunday, August 22 at 2 pm with brother-in-law and Pastor Tim Nichols officiating. The family will receive guests for visitation on Saturday, August 21 from 4-6pm at Oakeys South Chapel.
