McGregor, Ia. -- Mrs. Blanche M. Dempster, 73, of McGregor, died Saturday at a Prairie du Chien hospital.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Thornburg Funeral Home here, where friends may call. Burial will be in Thorpe Cemetery, rural Manchester.
Surviving are two sons, Ferman Brown and James Dempster, both of Decorah; six daughers, Mrs. Clara Kornmeyer of La Crosse, Mrs. LaVerna Tayek and Mrs. Mabel Martin, both of McGregor, Mrs. Minnie Streiff of Plano, Ill., Mrs. Sarah Ogert of Aurora, and Mrs. Janet Wilkins of Decorah; two sisters, Cassie Kelley of Pa., and Mrs. Maggie Midkiff of Cedar Rapids, 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
