Elaine was the only daughter of James E. and Laura Edna (Bolanssky) Campbell, She grew up in the Broad Street Park section of Hamilton Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. She was married twice. Her first husband was Fred A. Venose. They were the parents of six children. Her second husband was Kenneth P. Joiner, they were married in July 1972 in Lambertville, New Jersey. She died at the Rehab at Rivers Edge in Raritan Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Vito D. Venose in 1985, and her husband Ken in 1996. and her step son Stephen K. Joiner in 2013.
