Esta Marie (Albertson) McDougall-Pedigo, age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 13, 2021 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Nashville and former resident of Johnson County.

Esta was born October 31, 1935, in Coatesville to the late Fred and Ida (Galliger) Albertson. She married Chester I. Pedigo on May 9, 1975 in Morgantown. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2007 after 31 loving years of marriage.

Esta retired from Myers Electric in Indianapolis on the fan assembly line after 20 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and canning her vegetables and playing Bingo at the Bean Blossom Fire Department. Esta was a member of Triad and and belonged to the Fruitdale Fire Department for over 25 years. She also enjoyed making quilts and donated several to Access Brown County as a fundraising effort. Most of all, Esta enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be missed by her children: Frank McDougall, Harvey (Sue) McDougall and Randy (Thelma) McDougall, 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Esta was preceded in death by her parents: Fred Albertson and Ida (Galliger) Runyon, husband Chester, daughter: Zannie Lou "Loretta" Niblet and siblings: Myrtle Ann McDougall, Maynard Anthony Albertson, Willard Albertson, Oliver Lane Albertson, and an infant sibling.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Youngs Creek Cemetery in Franklin.
