John Robert Bernier
WILLISTON - John Robert Bernier died Thursday at his home. He was 70.
Mr. Bernier was born in Champlain, N.Y., and came here from Fort Lauderdale in 1985. He was a retired construction superintendent.
He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a Catholic. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1369 in Buffalo, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, June Bernier of Williston; sons Bryan Bernier of Ocala, Keith Bernier of Webster and Travis Bernier of Old Town; daughters Pamella Szumigata of Fort Lauderdale, Deborah Richardson of Chiefland and Sandra Bernier of Gainesville; a brother, Ernest Bernier of East Aurora, N.Y.; sisters Thelma Kozlowski of Alabama, and Jackie Schmidt and Marie Ulrich, both of Alden, N.Y.; and 12 grandchildren
