Her funeral will be 3:00 PM Friday afternoon, August 20, 2021, in the Cordesville First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery directed by Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 PM until the hour of service on Friday.
Mrs. Anderson was born January 21, 1953, in Moncks Corner, SC, a daughter of Rev. E. Eugene Lisenby, Sr., and Bernice Nobles Lisenby. She was a graduate of Berkeley High School where she drove bus for years, and a member of the New Journey Community Church in Ridgeville. Mrs. Anderson was also a clerk for the SCDMV in her earlier years, and after her retirement from Santee Cooper, she served as a manager for the C.R. Bard Credit Union. She loved deer hunting in past years and jewelry shopping, but mainly focused on being a second mother to her nieces and nephews in current times. Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by a nephew, John Dangerfield, and was the widow of George D. Anderson, Sr.
Surviving are her mother of Cordesville; a sister, Carolyn L. Connor and her husband, Wesley, of Moncks Corner; a brother, Rev. E. Gene Lisenby, Jr., and his wife, Janet, of Summerville; three nieces, Tuesdie Abernathy, Lacie Mizzell, and Chelsie Calvert; four great nieces, Jennifer Felkel, Bexley Mizzell, Brinley Mizzell, and Hadley-Marie Calvert; three great nephews, Camden Abernathy, Hampton Abernathy, and Hudson-Elijah Calvert; and two great-great nephews, Jase and Jensen Felkel.
