No MO. death cert found.

DOB may be abt 1855, Missouri, see note.

Note: Cemetery record as Abb Skeen, may be same as SKEEN Albert/65/single living alone in Clinton, Henry MO. in 1920 census. He was a fisherman on Grand River, born in Missouri, parents place of birth "United States". He was a white male, renter, spoke English.

Have not found other reference. Ancestry suggests possibility he is the Albert H.Skeen, age 7 found in Carter KY, son of James and Ann Skeen. Since Albert in 1920 indicated he was born in MO, it is unlikely he is same person.

Almost all records from the Henry County Poor Farm were lost when moving them to the Henry COunty Historical Society from the Court House.

No relationship link yet found to General Grant Skeen 1864-1947 ("General" is given name, not title) who died in County Farm Home in adjoining St. Clair Co MO. Grant was born in IL, son of Henry W. and Georgia Skeen, whose other children included James, William, Charles, Miles, Ellen, William T. Grant was living in Henry Co MO in 1930, near where Abb/Albert? was living in 1920 and died in 1925.

Anyone who has information about this person/their family, please send SAC.

Another possible link (courtesy of Mary): 1900 census, Osage Henry MO: Doc SKEEN b. Oct 1870 in IL, age 26, father b. IL, mother b. TN. He is a boarder at the home of Lucy J. Herring & family and his occupation is Day Laborer RR.

Skeen is such an unusual name, it seems probable these three in same Henry Co MO. area are related, if not the same person.
