John Wright Collier was born December 16, 1884 at Davenport, Iowa. He died the 15th of August. He moved with his family to DuBois Nebraska when a small child. John lived for some time in Summerfield, Kansas before coming to make Fairbury his home. Six brothers and sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Stella Easter of Fairbury, a niece Mrs. (Helen) John Blair of Las Vegas, Nevada and one nephew, Perl Tucker of Fairbury.
Memorial services were conducted from the Nuckolls Meyer chapel on Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. by Rev. Virgil Willits. Burial was in Fairbury Cemetery.
