Longtime Washington resident Dewane John Adams, age 88, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away April 19, 2005 at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He was born January 27, 1917 in Washington, Utah to John Adams and Katie Briggs Adams. He served in the army in WWII in Italy , where he was awarded a silver star for bravery. He married Lova Bowler and their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George temple.
He was active for many years in the Washington Lion's Club and the LDS Church. He owned a ranch in the Washington Fields with his brother Don (Deceased). He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, gardening, playing cards, but most of all, spending time with his family, especially the grandkids.
His parents are John Adams (1892-1951) and Katie (Briggs) Adams (1896-1991)
