Mrs. Wanda "Merline" Wilkerson, age 87 of Mayfield, KY died at 11:24 AM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her residence. Merline was a retired supervisor from the former Mayfield Manufacturing and Curlee Clothing Companies and was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include her daughter – Linda E. Wilkerson of Cordova, TN; son – Don W. Wilkerson of Cunningham, KY; brother – Gary Dale (Alma) Arant of Greeley, CO; 4 grandchildren – Eric Wilkerson, Jackie Harris, Julia Ross, & Austin Ivey; 6 great-grandchildren – Aaron Wilkerson, Zachary Sullivan, Jordan Wilkerson, Keaton York, Talon Ross and Adley Ross.
She was preceded in death by her husband – Eddie Bodine Wilkerson; her parents – Odis and Beda (Greene) Arant; and a brother – Tilman (Wanda) Arant.
Funeral services for Merline will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 23, 2107 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY with Rev. Jamie Darnell officiating. Burial will follow in the Zoar Cemetery. Friends are invited to call after 5:00 PM on Saturday July 22, 2017 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY.
