She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Doug Brasfield; daughter, Sandra Maddux (Johnny); son, Dave Randall (Diana); grandchildren, Johnna Klyce, Brandon Maddux (Tammy), Marcy Laxton (Michael), Pate Randall (Susie), and John Fry (Brandi); great grandchildren, Jill Proctor, Lauren Marbury (J.D.), Anna –Lee Klyce, Courtney Cantu (Xavier), Trea Klyce, Carah-Beth Beck (Daniel), Rachel Proctor, Stormy Cox (Dallas), George and Camille Randall, Addison and Wells Fry; great great grandchildren, Samuel and Noah Proctor, James and Lola Marbury, Ali-Brooke, Isaiah, and Luca Cantu.
She is preceded in death by her parents J.W. and Savannah Brewer, Five sisters, and three brothers.
Lola worked and retired from Kellwood Company after 22 years. She came home to serve and love her family. She sewed, cooked, and loved her grandchildren after her retirement. Over the years she has shared her backyard pool and home baked cookies with numerous neighborhood children. She was the foundation that held her family together, and she always showed her love and grace. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Alamo, and at the time of her passing she was the oldest living member. She loved and served her church for many years.
Graveside services for Lola will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 21, 2021, at the Alamo City Cemetery with Bro. Chris Rigby and Bro. Jerry Barker officiating.
