Friends in McComb of Mr. Benson Zeagler of Ferriday, La., a brother of Mrs. Homer Gill of McComb, will regret to learn of his death which occurred suddenly Thursday in a Natchez hospital. He was 47 years old.

Mr. Zeagler was a native of the Gillsburg community for many years until he moved to Gloster. Three years ago he made Ferriday his home.

He is survived by his widow, who was former Miss May Dell Butts [sic Maidell Betz]; his mother, Mrs. R. O. Zeagler of Gillsburg; five children, Christine, Murrell, Harry, Rodis and Henry Zeagler; four sisters, Mrs. W. W. Watts, Mrs. B. B. Wall of Gillsburg, Mrs. Homer Gill of McComb and Mrs. Paul Fowler of Memphis; and two brothers, Joe Zeagler of Gillsburg and Lionel Zeagler of Gloster.

Funeral services were held in Gloster Saturday afternoon. Interment was in Betts [sic Betz] cemetery. Young Funeral Home of Ferriday was in charge.
