Cynthia Jean Anderson, 66, of Streator passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at Heritage Health, Streator.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Hagi Funeral Home in Streator. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Rodney Kreier officiating. Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery.

Cynthia was born December 23, 1954 in Streator, a daughter of Virgil E. and Lois Jean (McCauley) Anderson. She married Gary Dean Carmean Sr. on July 4, 1974 at Immaculate Conception Church in Streator; they later divorced. She then married Bruce L. North in Streator on February 24, 1990; they also later divorced.
She is survived by a daughter: Kira Lee (Kaywin) Pfeffinger of Streator; two sons: Gary (Ashley Hall) Carmean Jr. of Normal and Blake (Kim) North of Pontiac; and two grandchildren: Kalycia Pfeffinger and Cassandra North. Also surviving are three sisters Laura Anderson and Marcia (John) Hallam both of Streator and Jaci Anderson of Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Eric Eugene Anderson; and a sister: Christina Rose Defenbaugh.
Cynthia was a member of the Central Church of Christ. She was a dedicated CNA and caregiver at several area nursing homes.
