He was a member of VFW Post 2210, a past member of K of C, Immaculate Conception Church in St. Mary, served in the US Army in the Korean War, worked at Valle as a custodian for 12 years. He was an avid bird watcher, a Dallas Cowboy fan and he was known for his sense of humor and quick wit and he loved his family dearly. In keeping with Bob's wishes his body was donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
