Carroll was the keeper of much information in regards to the Miville/Miville-dit-Deschenes/Deschaines/Mayville family records and genealogy. We have lost a great researcher and cousin.

In his own words, "I started being serious about genealogy research in 1994 when my oldest brother died and his wife gave me his files. I find genealogy research to be a challenging and rewarding avocation and I do not mind helping people to overcome their stone walls."
