William Webb Lee Sr.

William Webb "W. W." Lee, Sr., 77, of Savannah, died Thursday, August 29, at Memorial Health University.

He was born in Savannah and was a veteran having served in the U. S. Army during WWII, and the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was retired after 33 years of service in the Georgia Air National Guard. He had also worked at Woos Hardware on Wilmington Island for 40 years. He was a member of the White Bluff Presbyterian Church, where he served on the Board of Elders, a member of the Joy Sunday School Class, and the Men of the Church.

Survivors: his wife of 55 yeas, Mrs. Martha Akins Lee of Savannah; four sons and daughters-in-law, William W. Lee, Jr., Walter R. and Caren Lee, and Jeffery and Karen Lee, all of Savannah, and Wayne and Jenny Lee of St. Simons Island; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer L. and Lonnie Harn of Guyton; sister, Sara Birgman of Milledgeville; five grandchildren, Melissa, Courtney, Phillip, and Matthew Lee, and LeeAnna Harn; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00-8:00 p. m. Saturday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home- Hodgson Memorial Chapel.

Funeral Services: 2:30 p. m. Sunday at the White Bluff Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Preston Shealey officiating.

Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Remembrances: Building Fund, in care of White Bluff Presbyterian Church.
