Master Sgt. Robert Fletcher Casey, USMC, retired.

OCEANSIDE - Master Sgt. Robert Fletcher Casey,
USMC, retired, 78, passed away at home Saturday,
Jan. 15, 1994

Born in Mississippi, Top Casey retired from the
U.S. Marine Corps in October 1967, after 30 years of
service including WW II through two tours in Vietnam.

He was employed by the Oceanside City Water
Department for 10 years, retiring in 1977, following
the death of his first wife, Margaret.

He is survived by his wife, Marie, of Michigan; sisters,
Mary Grayson, of Oceanside, and Ida Haddad and
Jewell Cleveland, both of Mississippi; half-sisters,
Louvinia Lott of Texas, Beebe Strickland of Mississippi
and Norma Byard of Texas; stepsisters, Faith
Rourke of Mississippi and Edith Keller of Louisiana;
daughters, Carolynn (Jack) Moreno of Oceanside,
Patricia (John) Fitzgerald of Nevada and Linda
(Jerry) Garretson of Missouri; son, David (Teresa)
Casey of Oceanside; grandchildren, Margie (Bob)
Houghton, John Fitzgerald III, David Casey Jr., Casey
Moreno, and Eric and Rachelle Garretson; three
great-grandchildren; four stepchildren; seven step-
grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; and numerous
generations of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday,
Jan. 22, 1994, at Eternal Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary,
1999 El Camino Real, Oceanside.
Military graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22,
1994, at Eternal Hills. In Lieu of flowers, the family
requests donations be made to Brother Benno's Center,
or to the Christian Servicemen's Center.
