C. Wayne Boitnott, 81, of Troutville, left on the wings of Angels on Monday, August 9, 2021 at his home peacefully surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Birdie and James Lee Boitnott; and his sister, Virginia Kendrick. Wayne is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Boitnott; one daughter and two sons, Adam Boitnott and wife, Dawn, Beth Capell and husband, Bill, Ryan Boitnott and wife, Mindy; six grandchildren, Hylton, Macy, Will, Georgia, Justus, Mason; brother, Paul Boitnott; and several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
