A native of Creswell, NC, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Mattie Edwards. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Samuel D. Beiler, Jr.; six children, S. David Beiler, III, E. Clark Beiler, Marshall L. Beiler, Margie Richard, Stephen M. Beiler and Scott A. Beiler; two sisters, Barbara Johnson and Parmilee Krob; fourteen grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her sister, Maybelline Holland.
Married for 61 years, Margaret and Sam dedicated their lives to God's service. Beginning in 1949, they pastored churches in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland, including many years with First Assembly of God and Trinity Tabernacle, both of Virginia Beach, VA. They also served on the staff of Tidewater Assembly of God Christian School and CBN.
The family will receive friends Thursday 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, 1485 Kempsville Road, Virginia Beach, VA (757) 495-7727. A funeral service will be conducted at Glad Tidings Church, 301 S. Newtown Rd., Norfolk, VA Friday, July 20, 2007, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Qualls and Hugh Mason officiating. The church will open one hour before the service for viewing. The burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
