Mrs. Julia Cook Shackleford, 78, died at the home of her son, F. A. Shackleford, in Warsaw, on Friday evening lase. She was the widow of the late Ferdinand Shackleford. Mrs. Shackleford was a woman of marked intelligence and sound judgment. She was highly esteemed and greatly beloved. By her life, which was gracious and sweet as friend, wife and mother, she has left an example of the "Better Way." She leaves two sons, Judge Orren L. Shackleford, of Norfolk, and F. A. Shackleford, of Warsaw; two granddaughters, Mrs. William M. Walker of Warsaw, and Miss Anna Lyn Shackleford, of Norfolk. Burial services were held at St. John's Church on Sunday Afternoon, Bishop F. D. Goodwin and Rev. C. E. Buxton conducting the services.
