Shirley J. Allison, age 85, died on July 31, 2021 at her home in The Plains, VA. Shirley was born March 22, 1936 to the late Henderson and Erma Canard in Haymarket, VA. She is also predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Robert T. Allison, Sr. Shirley loved to cook, can vegetables, and watching trains from her home. She also would travel to Lancaster and Altoona, PA to watch trains. She loved to go to the Marshall Diner. She was loved by all of her family, and she loved her two grandchildren JR. and Emmaleigh.

She is survived by Bobby Allison and Carol Payne and was cared for by the lovely caregivers Carol, Dawn, and Lizzy. Also, a special thank you to the Heartland Hospice of Warrenton.

The family will receive friends on August 3rd from 6-8 p.m. at Royston Funeral Home in Marshall, VA. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday August 4th at 1 p.m. in Marshall Cemetery.
