Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary for Mrs. Frances Pierce, 81, who died Saturday at Marion General Hospital. Burial will be in Park View Cemetery, Alexandria.
She was a retired practical nurse. She had lived in Muncie 30 years before moving to Marion four years ago. She was a native of Missouri and a member of Church of God Assembly.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Climiteene Campbell and Mrs. Delma Aranias, both of Muncie; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Pearl Nuemburger, Batesville, Ark., Mrs. Emma Montgomery, Lake City, Ark., and Mrs. Lillie Baledge, Alexandria; three sons, Lural J., Pensacola, Fla., and Ralph and Glen, both of Muncie; two stepsons, Omar and Ray, both of Alexandria; four brothers, Henry, Harvey, Harlan and Tommy Smith, all in Arkansas; three sisters, Mrs. Susan Chism, Arkansas, Mrs. Vada Hisley, Illinois, and Mrs. Dora Smith, California; 34 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 7 to 9 o'clock this evening and prior to services Tuesday.
