School Bus Driver, Barber, Pawn Shop Owner, Taxi Operator Dies At Age 94
Mr. Lloyd E. Lewis, age 94, of Covington, Virginia, departed this earth on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Mr. Lewis was born June 30, 1927 in Dawson, WV, the son of the late Selah A. Lewis and Ethel Thompson Lewis and the grandson of the late Charles E. Thompson and Elgada Nutter Thompson and Dr. Thomas G. Lewis and Elsie Sawyers Lewis.

He was the brother of the late Edward E. Lewis, who preceded him in death in 1954.

Mr. Lewis is survived by his friends and family, Michael and Bonnie Keyser, James and Christine Hodges, Sherry Keyser; his caregiver, Joyletta Lemon and several ex-girlfriends.

Mr. Lewis served his country as a member of the United States Navy.

During his working career, he was a school bus driver, a barber for sixty years, a pawn shop owner, ran a taxi service and was a collector of everything.

His loves included fishing, collecting guns and cars, especially his 1956 Mercury. He supported many charities and took great pride in "Make America Great Again" and The Republican Party.

Lloyd was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association of America. He loved dining out since he never cooked his own meals, especially at Michael's Pizza every day.

A funeral service will be conducted August 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., in the mausoleum at the Wallace Memorial Cemetery in Clintonville, WV.
