Robert Louis Oliver was called to his eternal rest on August 1, 2021, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 13,1943 to Elizabeth and Ollie Oliver in Lynch, Kentucky. Robert was blessed to have married his high school sweetheart.
For 22 years, Robert honored his county a United States Air Force Airman First Class before retiring in July 1984 as a Master Sergeant. Not one to be idle, Robert worked for the United States Postal Service for 20 years.
Robert faithfully served Bethel United Methodist Church, San Antonio Texas. He shared his spiritual gifts as the Sunday School Superintendent, United Methodist Men as an encourager and mentor to young men. He was selected as Bethel Man of the Year in 2000 and as Man of the Decade in 2015.
Robert legacy is cherished by his wife of 57 years, children, grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
