Alice L Lockhart, 62, of Parkersburg, died March 29, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg.

She was born in Wood County, a daughter of the late Clark and Mary Still Anderson. She attended Wood County schools, was a crossing guard for the city of Parkersburg and worked in the nursery at Emerson Bowling Lanes. She was a member of the Salvation Army.

Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Charles K. Lockhart, Sr.; two sons, Charles K. Lockhart, Jr. of Elmira, N.Y., and Perry C. Lockhart of Parkersburg; two daughters, Sharon Ann Beha and Phyllis Jean Parker, both of Parkersburg; two sisters, Nora Moss of Parkersburg and Patricia Shupp of Belpre; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Anderson and Dale Anderson; and three sisters, Jackie Anderson, Amanda McCune and Catherine Biles.

Services 11 a.m. Wednesday, Salvation Army Chapel, Parkersburg. Burial Parkersburg Memorial Gardens.

Visitation 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Tuesday, Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Parkersburg, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel
