Wednesday morning, May 25th, at the home of his nephew, James Kelley, in Beaver township, occurred the death of George Horton, after a brief illness. He was born in Harts Village, New York, August 25, 1849, and was in his sixty second year. He was a resident of the county for many years and leaves a wide circle of friends to mourn his death. The remains were laid to rest in Glenwood cemetery at Ogden Thursday afternoon, the Rev. Thomas conducting a brief service at the grave.
