Family cemeteries were very common in early KY. Daniel Tichenor's descendants are buried in a number of them, only three of which bear the Tichenor name; The Daniel Tichenor Cemetery in Nelson County. Both Daniel and Ann are buried in the Tichenor Family Cemetery, named for the descendants of Martin Tichenor. This plot is located on a high point of pasture of what was originally the farm of Daniel Tichenor between Plum Run Road and Murray's Run Road northeast of Bardstown, KY.
