mother of martha ann booth (hail)my great great grand motherThe information here is from Mallory Funeral Home Record, page 232. Record shows Internment at Hanson, aka Fleetwood Cemetery.

Although the funeral record shows the name as Booth, it should be Boothe, several Boothe's dropped the E over the years.

Sarenia was the wife of Alexander Boothe married sometime between 1855 and 1858 and listed on the 1880 Jackson County Alabama Census as Barbary A. Place of birth is shown as Tennessee. The 1900 U.S. Census shows her living with her son Hugh in Township 18, District 30, Indian Territory Cherokee Nation. The census also indicates she is Widowed, had been married 42 years, the mother of 8 children with 6 living, I am still trying to find out who the missing children are. The 1910 U.S. Census lists her at Creek Township, District 238, Wagoner Co. OK., it also indicates she has been married 55 years, had 7 children with all 7 still living, this is one of the reasons I don't put a lot of faith in the census records, too many inconsistencies. The 1910 census has her name as SARIHAN.
