Sophia was the daughter of Abraham Isaak Löw Beer.
She married on 08 July 1834 her cousin Leopold Joachim Beer, the son of Joachim Isaak Löw Beer (1768-1845). After her husband's death, she lived in London, England to be near her sons Julius and Arnold. After Sophia's death her remains were transported back to Frankfurt and buried next to her husband, per her wishes.
