Mrs. Wood was born June 4, 1918 in Spiro, Okla., and had lived in Sapulpa since 1960, moving here from Mounds, [Oklahoma].
She was a homemaker, and had worked as a cook for the Arnold's Nursing Home and the Pleasant Manor Nursing Home. She was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie Ray Wood in 1969, and her parents.
Survivors are her children: Jim Wood of Sapulpa, Bob Wood of Sapulpa, and her daughter, Margie Roller of Muskogee, [Oklahoma]; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Faye Rice and June Hinkle, both of Sapulpa.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wood will be held at 10 am Monday, July 24, 2006 in the Smith Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Johnny Bilby officiating. Interment will be in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens, [Sapulpa].
Serving as casketbearers will Russell Wood, Steve Wood, Danny Wood, Todd Roller, Christian Roller, and Gary Smith. Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
