Nancy Ann Eckhardt, (Aunt Nancy) 97, Of Cheyenne, Wyoming, died on July 28,2021 in Cheyenne. She was born May 12, 1924 in Wheatland, Wyoming. She married the one and only love of her life, Johnny Eckhardt. They spent much of their married life traveling.
Nancy worked at Mountain Bell much of her adult life having retired at 55.
Nancy had a heart of gold and was loved by all. She is survived by several nieces and nephews; Monica Mallon (Jim, Sarah, Chris, Phoenix, Tristan and Jordyn), Tracy Kiddie (Rich and Jennifer), Randy Knudson (Robyn, Rhea, Nicole and Ashton, Amanda and Issac Wentz, and Meagan Knudson), Rhea Knudson (Lilyanna, Beckham and Finlee). All being the lights of her life, she treated them as her own. There are also many many more loving family and friends surviving.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father and mother; Joseph and Anna Knudson; brothers and sisters, Nubbins, Oscar, Edith, Charlie, and Joey. She outlived all of her brothers and sister.
Graveside services will be held at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 10:30am.
