FEBRUARY 3, 1928 – OCTOBER 2, 2019

Lanora Bowman, age 91, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in Muskegon. She was born in West Virginia on February 2, 1928 to the late Watson and Lavada (Pickens) Tice. On August 17, 1946 she married the love of her life Elbert Bowman and he preceded her in death.

Lanora worked as a housekeeper. She loved working in the yard, taking care of others, sewing, patching clothes, was an avid reader and loved to do crossword puzzles.

Survivors include one daughter Sherry Galion, two sons Randal (Sandra) Bowman and Todd (Melissa) Bowman, a brother Bernerd (Angie) Tice, brother and sister in law Donald and Barb Mo, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, a niece Florenda and many many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a daughter Linda, brothers Emery, Jerry, Pete, Bud and Joe, sisters Gloria, Bessie and Viola. Lanora will be buried next to her husband at Restlawn Cemetery on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 2:15 p.m.
