"Aunt Atta" played hostess to many weary traveler at her hotel where she lived and which she operated until her death in 1941. In 1945 it was sold to Curt Dudley and he made it into apartments. In 1947 it was sold to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hoffman and later sold to Lester White. His daughter and husband are living in it at the present time.

ATTA CHATWIN DIES OF RABBIT FEVER
The death at 4:50 a.m. this Thursday of Mary Atta Chatwin, 59, pioneer of Jensen in 1887, takes from our midst one of the colorful characters of earlier pioneer days.
Several weeks ago, "Aunt Atta", as she was known to everyone while in the garden was bitten by a deer fly. An illness which resulted developed into a case of tuleremia. Taken to the Basin Hospital she had been very low for many days. Improvement came and she was taken last week to the home of her sister Mrs. J. E. Campbell where death occurred.
Mrs. Chatwin was born January 3, 1883 at Spanish Fork and came to Ashley Valley in 1887. She was the pioneer hotel keeper of Jensen and for years assistant post master uner her husband the late Henry J. Chatwin.
Funeral services will be held in the Jensen Ward Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Saturday.
