Zella Olive Eiswerth 93, of Cañon City, died Monday, June 25, 2007, at Progressive Care Center. She was born March 16, 1914 in Basalt to Enoch and Anna (Rush) Olson. She was a switchboard operator for the telephone company. She married Vernon Eiswerth, April 13, 1938, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the VFW.
She is survived by Harold Templeton, Pat and Jerry Callen, Wanda Templeton, Gene Eiswerth and family, Margie Eiswerth and family, Gearheart family, Malone family, Juanita Phalen, Webb family, Stenzel family, Anderson family, Darrow family and Sherry Datata.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Verna Dean Eiswerth; nephew, Charles Eiswerth; and all her brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be at the Florence United Methodist Church at a later date. Burial will take place in Denver. Arrangements were under the direction of Charles Anthony Funeral Home.
