Survivors include her sons & daughters and their spouses, William & Reba Jumper, Lexington, James & Marilyn Jumper, Gilbert, Dorothy Taylor, Elaine & Jimmy Eargle, Linda & Terry Shealy, all of Leesville, Betty Jo Day, & Mary Ann Risinger, Lexington, Maurice Rae Derrick, Sandra & Kendle Clamp, Rachel & Cecil Lowman, all of Gilbert; her sister, Lois Cockrell, Gilbert; 27 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben O. Jumper, an infant son; daughter, Mavis Jumper; parents, George & Agnes (Shealy) Koon; brother, John David Koon; sisters, Margaree Bedenbaugh, Georgia Matthews Adams, & Carrie Ruth Shealy, and a great-grandson.
Interment followed funeral services conducted at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Thursday, May 18, 2006; Rev. Tod Kornahrens presided.
