Dessie L. Boothe, 85, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 30, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Boothe; sister, Wilda Dickerson, Essie Sue Litton.
Dessie is survived by her brother, Hassell Boothe; sister, Barbara Richards; a number of nieces and nephews; her church family and special friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. A reception will follow the funeral. Interment will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Three Oaks Fellowship United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice.
