MATTOON -- Alma C. Bramel, 91, of Mattoon, formerly of Blue Mound, died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday (Sept 18, 1993) at the Odd Fellow Rebekah Home.

She was born Sept. 24, 1901 in Campbellsville, Ky., the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth L. Deathrige Childers. She married Charles Bramel; he died in 1962.

Mrs. Bramel was a member of the First Christian Church of Mattoon, the Odd Fellow Rebekahs, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Blue Mound.

Surviving are a nephew, Calvin Childers of Cantonment, Fla., and two great-nephews.
