Obituary for Alan Duane Killey
Alan Duane Killey, 61, of Seymour, passed away unexpectedly at home the morning of July 26, 2021. He was born in 1960 to the late Oren M. and Vernon Louise Nowling Killey. Alan had a passion for hairstyling. He shared this with many through the ownership and operation of Hair Force Beauty Academy along with his wife, Dana, for over 30 years. Alan will always be remembered for touching so many lives through his instruction. He was a member of Reddington Christian Church.

Alan was married to Dana Jo for 38 years and she survives.

He is survived by his children, Allison and Zack Killey; brother Alvin (Lucinda) Killey; sisters, Connie (Mike) Lovins and Reta (Larry) Schneider; many nieces and nephews.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arthur Killey.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, from 2-4pm at Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Memorial service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service at 4pm.

Memorial contributions can be made to donor's choice of charity.

In keeping with Alan's wishes, cremation is being provided by Voss Funeral and Cremation Services.
