Dorothy Harrell, 51, died May 2, 2002.
Mrs. Harrell was born in Birmingham, Ala., and had resided in Akron most of her life. She had worked in data processing for Sage Computers.
She was the loving mother of Helen Dunn and Jackie (Shawn) Zawada, both of Akron; the loving grandmother of Zachary Zawada, who called her Mimi; and was the sister of Steven Payne of Arizona, Jimmy Payne of Alabama, and Faye (Wayne) Waldrep of California.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Clifford- Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, where a funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Rev. Howard D. Powell officiating. Removal will be made to the Morgan Funeral Chapel in Atalla, Ala., for further services and burial at Reeves Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Steele, Ala.
