Statler, Janet L., 80, of Geistown.
Janet went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully with Bob at her side holding her hand.
Born Jan. 12, 1941, in Johnstown. Daughter of the late Fred and Ruth (Parks) Orris.
Also preceded in death by brothers James Orris and Paul Orris; sister Ida Mae "Dolly" Saylor and her dogs, Mandie and Maddie.
Survived by husband of 56 years, Bob Statler; brother Glenn Orris and Fred "Bud" Orris; sister Joan Connor; and nieces and nephews.
A 1960 graduate of Johnstown High School. She worked at former Penn Traffic Co and also worked at Law's Jewelry Store for 20 years.
Recently Janet worked at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship and Bethany U.M. Church, Day Cares and Pre Schools.
Her greatest joy and love came from her 15 Mission trips to Haiti with Bob to help underprivileged people there.
Friends received from 3-7 pm Thursday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland.
Friends and relatives also invited to attend funeral service at 10 am Friday at Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship Church. Pastor Gary Tustin, officiating.
Entombment at Richland Cemetery Mausoleum.
