Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in New Orleans at a 1:30 pm graveside service.
Survivors include her brother, Edward "Eddie" Toll and his wife, Tiney Toll of Lafayette; her sister, June Wichers of Covington; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Toll of Chicago; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wichers; her parents, Walter Edward Toll and the former Rosalie Morgan, both natives of New Orleans; her brother, Walter Edward Toll, Jr.; her nephew, Walter K. Toll; and a brother-in-law, Paul J. Wichers.
Rosalie was a retired nurse's assistant for Dr. Kistler in New Orleans for over thirty years. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, gardening and enjoyed telling others how to. Her favorite flowers were hydrangeas and gladiolas. Mrs. Wichers grew evergreens and shrubs in the greenhouse her husband, Charles, built for them. She was known to be a food critic and enjoyed oysters in any way particularly fried.
