CHARLES MURPHY, 70, FOUND DEAD AT FARM HOME IN SPRINGFIELD. Charles MURPHY, 70, was found dead at his farm home in SPRINGFIELD township on Tuesday morning by a neighbor, Mr. Long. Mr. Murphy, who had been in poor health for several years, had been last seen on Monday a week ago, when he was in Kalkaska. Mr Long missed him and went to the farm home where he found him dead. Coronor Berg stated that he had died from a heart attack and had been dead undoubtedly since Saturday. Mr. Murphy was born July 12, 1877 and had lived his entire life in SPRINGFIELD township. He leaves one brother, Daniel MURPHY of Fife Lake, six nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church in Fife Lake with burial in SPRINGFIELD township cemetery. Rev.
