Ethel Mary Bingaman passed away Oct. 22, 2002, in Houston.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. The Rev. Jerry House Jr. will officiate. A chapel service and interment will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Moore Cemetery in Arlington.

Ethel Mary Bingaman was born July 29, 1926, in Houston. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in College Station. She was also a member of the Brazos Valley Writers Association, City of College Station Citizen's University and served as a volunteer at Dispute Resolution Center. She attended the University of Texas at Austin.

Mrs. Bingaman loved reading, writing, bridge and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Arlington Bingaman.

Survivors: Son, Fred Parker Bingaman and his wife, Jean, of College Station; daughters, Camy Sturdivant and husband, David, of College Station and Judy Yarbrough and husband, John, of Irving; brother, Trent E. Parker of Pasadena; and sisters, Rosalie Carter of Livingston and Cammy Mullinax and her husband, Bobby, of LaPorte; grandchildren, Wendy Yarborough Robinson and husband, Josh, Ross Bingaman, Amy Bingaman, Preston Sturdivant and Robert Sturdivant.
