Geraldine "Gerri" Louise Rall, age 88 of Davenport, IA, formerly of Clinton, was called home to her Lord on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the Davenport Lutheran Home.
A private family funeral was held on Saturday, April 18th at St. John Lutheran Church in Clinton. Burial was in Springdale Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Gerri was born on a farm near Knippa, TX on February 2, 1932, the daughter of Fritz and Ella (Dicke) Thane. She was baptized into the Christian faith at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Knippa on February 28, 1932. She was confirmed into that faith on December 30, 1945.
She was a graduate of Knippa High School, Southwest Texas Junior College, and Texas Lutheran College, receiving a B.S. degree in elementary education.
She taught elementary school in Uvalde, TX and Minneapolis, MN.
Gerri was joined in marriage to Eugene Rall on June 15, 1958 in Knippa.
They made their home in Minneapolis, Chisholm, and Warren, MN, moving to Clinton in 1969.
They were blessed with 3 children.
While in Clinton, Gerri worked at the Clinton Public Library. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Clinton, and most recently of Risen Christ Lutheran Church, Davenport.
She enjoyed her family, music, reading, and her visits to people in nursing homes.
Gerri is survived by her husband Eugene Rall of Davenport; 3 children, Christine Rall of Davenport, Timothy (Josie) Rall of Brewer, ME, and David (Rebecca) Rall of Davenport; three grandchildren, Delaney, Logan, and Julia Rall; and 2 step-grandchildren, Mikey and Eileen Nunley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Ruby Faye Adair, a brother-in-law and a nephew.
Memorials may be made to Mission Central, Lutheran Hour Ministries, or the Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch.
