"Anna Ellen Cole, 83, Route 2 (Foster), died at 12:47 a.m. Sept. 5, 1993, at United Samaritans Medical Center, Logan Campus, Danville, Ill. She was born Aug. 4, 1910, at Marshall, the daughter of Chauncey D. and Mary M. Daugherty Delp. She married Paul Cole; Oct. 5, 1935, at Attica. He survives.
She was a resident of Route 2, Covington, since 1966. She was a former resident of Tangier. She was a gentle person who enjoyed her family and grandchildren.
Surviving, besides the husband, are: four daughters, Margy Spencer, Betty Cole and Ima Jean (Harold) Grubbs, all of Route 2, Covington; Dora (Larry) Scott, Perrysville; three brothers, Maurice Delp, Dana; Gerald Delp, Newport; Troy Delp, Route 3, Veedersburg; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
