Obituary;
Sandra Monk, age 72, of Crossville, passed away on June 6, 2021 at her home in Crossville.
She was born on April 17, 1949 in Crossville, daughter of Gerald Monk Sr. and Johnnie Mae (Davidson) Monk.
Sandra owned the An-Jen Inn Bed and Breakfast and was an avid entrepreneur throughout her life. She loved her family more than life itself and was able to light up a room just by walking in it. She was a woman who left a legacy of shattering glass ceilings and raising many children, without ever having any biologically herself. Her hard work and love will live on through many generations to come.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Goldston and brother, Jerry Monk.
She is survived by her nieces, Jennifer Monk (Jared Krupski), Crossville, TN and Andrea Monk (Jonathan Bell), Crossville, TN; great-nephews: Ellison, Robbie, Ren, and Zane Monk-Bell.
Funeral services were held at Bilbrey Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 9, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Steven Lee officiating. Interment in Woody Cemetery.
