Funeral services for Fannie Culpepper Woods, 82, were held Saturday, April 25, at 2 p.m., from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Forest. Rev. James Waggoner officiated. Interment was made in the Harperville Cemetery in Scott County. Mrs. Woods passed away on Tuesday, April 21, at the Kiley Hospital in Meridian. Prior to her retirement she was employed as an LPN with Riley Hospital. A native of Scott County, she had lived in Meridian for the past several years.
Survivors include one son, Roy E. Woods, Meridian; three daughters, Mrs. William C. (Oletta) Flynt, Columbus, OH, Mrs. George (Alice Sybil) Johnson, Meridian, Miss Teresa Woods, Dallas, TX; 22 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy H. Woods; three sons, Robert A. Woods, Roger H. Woods, and Andy Woods. Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements.
