Winifred Louise Seals, 96, of Winters passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021.

She was born May 12, 1925 in Winters, the ninth child to Will and Ila Baxter.

She worked many years for Piggly Wiggle Grocery and later Lawrence Bros. She had a passion about having a neat well-kept yard. She loved her family.

She married Marvin Seals November 18, 1939. He preceded her in death February 9, 1986.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

She was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Winters where she was a faithful member of the Good News Sunday School class.

She is survived by two daughters: Darlene Pennington and husband Shelby of Fort Pierce, FL, Jean "Jeanie" Wheat and husband Gene of Winters, son Jimmy Seals and wife Doreen of Potosi; grandchildren: Jim Pennington, Donnie Pennington, Bill Wheat, Doug Wheat, Julie Green, Mike Seals, Stacy Long, and Jeffrey Hogue; as well as 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Winters. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Winters Funeral Home.
