"Sharon Virginia Fellure Cassel, 57, of Fowler, died at .8:45 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 1993, at Greenhill Manor Nursing Home in Fowler. She had been in failing health several years and hospitalized in Indianapolis since March, returning to the nursing home a week before her death. She was born in Brookings, S.D., on Oct. 14, 1935, the daughter of Floyd E. and Helen L. Muller Fellure. She grew up in Swannington, lived in Lake Village, several years, then returned to Benton County in 1965. She had lived in Fowler since 1973.
She graduated from Fowler High School in 1953. She was married Sept. 14, 1954, in Swannington, to Wayne Cassel, who survives. She was a homemaker and a cook. She was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing the piano, and was a crossword puzzle enthusiast.
Surviving with her husband are three sons, Eric (Lisa) and Adam of Lafayette, Alex of Fort Myers, FL.; four daughters, Mary (Bob)Hines of Judyville, Lori Lefever of Indianapolis, Teri Cassel of Fowler, two brothers,Kenneth Fellure and Laurence Fellure, Oxford; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation is to be at Yuill Shoemaker Funeral Home, Boswell, after 5 p.m. today. Funeral services are to be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 23, 1993, at the Yuill Shoemaker Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles B. Anderson and Rev. Bradley Delks officiating.
